Week 9 Nominations of BBNaija 2024

This week on Monday 23 September 2024, Day 57 of Big Brother Naija Season 9, the housemates took part in the last nominations of this season.

One by one, each of the eleven housemates who are still inside Biggie’s house went to the diary room and nominated two housemates they would love to see on the chopping block this week, and also gave a reason for each nomination.

The week 9 Head of House, Kellyrae was definitely immune to nominations and in fact, he had already booked himself a spot in the finale week.

The Week 9 nominations kicked off with big boy, Ocee, who was followed by cutie pie, Anita.

Below is how the housemates nominated each other this week.

Ocee nominated Nelly and Anita because they are credible competitors and it is more from a strategic perspective.

Anita nominated Kassia and Victoria because while she has gotten to know the remaining housemates, she has not gotten to know them compared to the rest of the housemates.

Wanni nominated Nelly and Anita because she thinks they are some of the least housemates who have been up for possible eviction throughout the season.

Onyeka nominated Kassia and Victoria because she (Onyeka) and Kassia had a rift back to back. Onyeka said she did not want to nominate Victoria but other housemates might put her up, especially Kassia, so she is also taking the risk.

Topher nominated Ozee and Victoria because they are healthy competition, he said Victoria has survived being evicted a couple of times so it will be nice to go head-to-head with her.

Ozee nominated Nelly and Anita because everyone in the house has his respect but he thinks he has not connected with these two as much.

Kassia nominated Onyeka and Ozee. Her reason is that Ozee has never been up for possible eviction, then for Onyeka, Kassia said that Ozee and Onyeka are friends, and if both of them are up for possible eviction, Ozee fans will vote for him, while Onyeka’s fans will vote for her.

Sooj nominated Wanni and Victoria because it is a competitive analysis just to see the standing of things

Victoria nominated Nelly and Topher because she feels like Aces and Nelita have so far had a smooth ride in the house so she is trying to break them. She hopes Sooj and Anita are up for possible eviction as well, so no one will rely on anybody’s strength.

Nelly nominated Ocee and Kassia because Ocee has been lucky for some funny reasons, he has never been up for possible eviction, and Kassia, she has never nominated her before and now we are at the semi-finals.

Kellyrae nominated Onyeka and Wanni because he has to reciprocate, they have both been mentioning his name and he has never done so before.

After all the eleven housemates were done with making their nominations, below is a summary of the number of nominations that each housemate received.

As you can clearly see in the above table of Week 9 nomination results, Sooj was not nominated at all thereby getting himself a spot in the finale week, joining Kellyrae as the second finalist.

Biggie then decided to put up for possible eviction each housemate who received at least one nomination, as a result, nine housemates, Victoria, Nelly, Anita, Kassia, Ozee, Onyeka, Wanni, Ocee, and Topher ended up on this week’s chopping block.
