Day 9: Big Brother Naija 2021 week 2 Nominations

The Big Brother Naija 2021 ‘Season 6’ nominations for week 2 have been held this evening.

This week’s nomination session was very different from what the housemates were expecting as the opportunity to nominate was only given to the two wildcard housemates.

For successfully playing the wildcard game and remaining in the Big Brother Naija house, Pere and Maria were given a nomination edge over the rest of the housemates. This simply means that only the two of them were given the chance to nominate, and guess what? Biggie asked each of them to nominate four housemates.

Obviously there were a few exceptions, Biggie informed Pere and Maria that they could not nominate the Head of House, Boma. They could also not nominate each other (fellow wildcard housemate), for example, Pere could not nominate Maria and vice versa.

Big Brother also cautioned both Pere and Maria not to discuss their nomination information with their fellow housemates during their stay inside the Big Brother Naija house.

The nomination process kicked off with Maria, who was quickly followed by Pere. Below is how both Maria and Pere nominated;

• Maria nominated Beatrice, Yerins, Jaypaul and Whitemoney

• Pere nominated Beatrice, Yerins, Niyi and Whitemoney

Below is a summary of the amount of nominations received by each housemate;

Big Brother then addressed the housemates who were all gathered in the lounge and eager to learn which housemates had been nominated, Biggie announced the following housemates;

• Beatrice
• Yerins
• Whitemoney
• Jaypaul
• Niyi

As the Head of House, Boma was asked by Biggie to use his Veto Power to save one of the nominated housemates and replace him/her with one housemate who had not been nominated. Boma saved Jaypaul and replaced him with Yousef.

Therefore the nominated housemates of Big Brother Naija 2021 ‘Season 6’ week are;

• Beatrice
• Yerins
• Whitemoney
• Niyi
• Yousef
