Day 68: Uyanda Wins Week 10 (Final) Friday Night Arena Games

Uyanda has won another R5,000 after winning the Week 10 (final) Lottostar Friday Night Arena games of Big Brother Mzansi Season 5: Umlilo in 2025 on Day 68 of the show.

As is the norm in the Big Brother Mzansi house, tonight Big Brother summoned the housemates to the arena for the final Lottostar Friday night arena games of the season, their last chance to win the R5,000 that is up for grabs.

The housemates wore a sumo suit during these games. Along the way, housemates collected coins and traveled with them all the way to the end. For every coin a housemate missed, he or she incurred a 60-second penalty.

The week 10 Friday night arena games comprised six different challenges explained below.

1. See-saw Balance Test

At the sound of the buzzer, housemates walked across a see-saw, here balance was key. When a housemate fell off the see-saw, they went back to the start and tried again until they were successful.

Before moving on to the next obstacle, housemates picked up the coin on the table.

2. Tyre Navigation

This was the second challenge of the game. Housemates navigated through tyres placed on a path while ensuring that at least one leg entered each tyre.

Housemates tried not to completely shift the tyres out of place and once they got on the other side, they collected a second coin before moving on.

3. Egg and Spoon Beam Walk

For the third game, housemates walked on a beam from one end to the other while carrying an egg using a spoon. The aim was to walk to the other side without falling or dropping the egg.

When a housemate fell, or when their egg dropped, they restarted the game until they got to the other side of the beam without any mishaps. They then dropped the egg and the spoon into the basket before moving on to the next game.

4. Net Crawl

For game number four, housemates crawled under a net, collecting a coin at the centre of the course before coming out on the other side,

5. Maze Basketball Shootout

For the fifth game, housemates were provided with a basket hoop and a maze. The aim was for housemates to throw a ball through the net and into the bucket while standing inside the maze. When the ball missed the net or the bucket, a housemate came out of the maze, fetched the ball, and tried again until they scored.

6. Ball Pit Alphabet Scramble

From the fifth game above, housemates made their way to the sixth game where they found a ball pit.

Housemates first placed their coins into a basket on the red table before they went inside the ball pit and searched for nine alphabets that had been placed inside. These alphabets spelled “Wealth Inn”.

Once housemates found the alphabets, they made their way to the red table where they arranged these letters in the correct order to form “Wealth Inn”.

Because he is last week’s winner, Sweet Guluva was the first housemate to play the games tonight.

→ Jojo completed the games in 9 minutes and 12 seconds but received a 40-second penalty for incorrectly spelling the word “Wealth Inn”, bringing her final time to 9 minutes and 52 seconds

Winner and reward

This week’s winner, the man of the moment, Uyanda, completed the games in just 2 minutes and 33 seconds, the quickest this week – adding another R5,000 to his Big Brother Mzansi piggy bank.

This is the third time that Uyanda has won the Lottostar Friday Night Arena games, remember he also won the Friday Night Arena games of Week 4 on Day 26 and Week 8 on Day 54.

According to our calculations, Uyanda has won a total of R15,000 from Lottostar for his three victories in the Friday Night Arena games this season and therefore he has every reason to be happy. We hope that Uyanda will enjoy spending every cent of his earnings.

Uyanda has now joined Sweet Guluva who has also won the Lottostar Friday night arena games three times.

You can all remember that Sweet Guluva won the Lottostar Friday night arena games of Weeks 1, 7, and 9.
